The Graland Country Day School, a private charter school in Denver, is in need of a new, larger library to house its current collection and meet the campus goals and objectives. The library expansion project will not be funded for several years and in the interim the existing space must be reconfigured to optimize the services it offers. The initial phase included a space needs assessment and master plan. Our goals with this project were to provide the largest noticeable improvements to the library with the least cost impact. Paint, carpet and graphics, along with strategic furniture placement and re-placement, were essential components to achieve this goal.
