The Graland Country Day School, a private charter school in Denver, was in need of a new, larger library to house its current collection and meet the campus goals and objectives. The library expansion project was not to be funded for several years, but the existing space needed to be reconfigured in the interim to optimize the services offered. The initial phase included a space needs assessment and master plan. Our goal with this project was to provide the largest noticeable improvements to the library with the least cost impact. Paint, carpet and graphics, along with strategic furniture placement and re-placement, were essential components to achieve this goal.
