Reuse

The City of Boulder acquired the Boulder Community Health site including the Medical Office Pavilion, a 3-story structure with a garden level. Once the hospital is sustainably detached from the Medical Office Pavilion, the remaining building will be an ‘L’-shaped free-standing structure anchoring the prominent corner of Broadway and Alpine Streets. Studiotrope was commissioned to analyze the potential re-use of this structure, specifically how the adaptive re-use will benefit or detract from the overall goals and aspirations for the future development of the area vacated by the hospital.
